Geta Craftsman: Yuto Morohashi Hometown: Aichi Prefecture, Owariasahi City
After graduation from Gifu Academy of Forest Science and Culture, Yuto was drawn to the culture and beautiful nature of Gujo City in Gifu Prefecture. 
Gujo City has the Gujo Odori festival with a history of over 400 years. Yuto learned that the geta used in the Gujo Odori festival dancing were no longer made in Gujo and in 2014 started the Gujomokuri brand to spread the culture of Gujo geta.
A specialist in Oriental Medicine, Masahiro Kobayashi requested that Yuto create a one tooth geta starting the T-foot brand. Yuto is in charge of creating each T-foot sandal.
Manager: Masahiro Kobayashi Hometown: Shiga Prefecture, Nagahama City
After graduating from Hosei University, Masahiro returned to Nagahama to continue the family business of manufacturing and selling moxibustion goods.
Masahiro’s major in university was financial engineering. He didn’t like IT intensive business and wanted to sell traditional goods. Drawn to the moxibustion section of the family business, he took over the company even though he is the second eldest son. Now, Masahiro also runs a specialty tea shop in Nagahama. Through the sports his children were practicing he learned about Ipponba geta and this kicked off the T-foot brand. Masahiro is responsible for general management.
Coach&Adviser: Kohei Kawamura Hometown: Shiga Prefecture, Nagahama City.
After graduating from Waseda University, Kohei worked in Tokyo but has since returned to Nagahama. At university he majored in anatomy and training at the sports science department. While studying body structure and movement he started to seriously participate in triathlons. After graduating he continued to compete. In 2012 he won the Japanese Duathlon Championship and represented Japan at the International Championship. Kohei now runs a sports club in Nagahama and has incorporated training with Ipponba-geta sandals. Kohei is a member of the Shiga Prefecture Triathlon Strengthening Committee, a certified JSPO Triathlon coach1.
Translation and Model: Isaac Morgan Hometown: Siloam Springs, Arkansas
Isaac started studying Japanese at the University of Arkansas and after graduating came to Japan through the JET Programme. As an ALT he taught Elementary and Jr. High Schools in Nagahama City in Shiga Prefecture. Currently he teaches at high school and enjoys Japan's beautiful nature by camping, mountain biking and snowboarding on his days off. Isaac is responsible for translation.
Assitant: Yoshinobu Sumi Hometown: Shiga Prefecture, Hikone City
After graduating from Waseda University, Yoshinobu started working for Tanseisha Co., Ltd. While working there he was involved with the planning, design, and construction of museums.
Eventually, Yoshinobu started to think more about his family’s lumber shop and his hometown. He was accepted into the Local Vitalization Cooperation Group of Nagahama City in Shiga Prefecture and returned to his hometown. Yoshinobu has planned projects to make products using local lumber as well as being in managerial positions for local events.
